Blue Ocean Sportfishing is mindful and appreciative of our marine environment and the resource.

We offer, on all inshore Striped Bass Fishing Charters, the opportunity for our charter guests to practice conservation, by Tagging and Releasing Striped Bass.

In cooperation with The American Littoral Society, we carry on board Striped Bass Tags. After succesfully catching, tagging and releasing our striped bass, we can help ensure the continued success of the species and assist the National Marines Fisheries Service with tracking there migration and growth rate.

Addionally, when the striped bass is recaptured, perhaps years later, you will be notified of its' recapture location and weight.
