Late June thru August are great months for Offshore Fishing.

Blue Ocean Sportfishing offers Open Boat Offshore Charters, for individual anglers and full charters up to 4 people.

These charters are day trolls using custom stand up rods matched with two-speed Avets & Penn Reels. This is a highly interactive charter for Yellow Fin Tuna, Bige Eyes and Wahoo and Mahi.

They will start around 3-4 AM; getting to the canyons in 2 hours, and will return in the late afternoon or when the coolers are full.

You can help prepare baits, deploy spreads, work patterns and gaff fish on our trips! Our trips are intense!

You will also love catching Mahi-Mahi on lite tackle spinning gear! You will come home with fish for the family and have a great time with us.

We'll be sailing out of Oaklands Marina in Shinnecock come mid June 2008 where you can clean up and enjoy a drink and music on the docks afterwards.
