We launched the boat 4/23/08 fom Old Saybrook, CT. My brother Jon and I made the run 55 Miles back to Northport, NY through the Long Island Sound at 45 Knots in calm seas with a lite SW wind. It was a nice run.

The water temp in the Eastern LI Sound ranged from 45-48 degrees and as we got closer to home port the sea temp increased to 52-55 degrees.

Did a recon mission today and more this weekend in the Western Long Island Sound and back bays for bait and fish.
