South of the Coimbra today: 1st trip of the year. Had Steve B., George and Jon on the boat. Water temp 67.1 to 67.8 Blue/Green NW wind seas 2-3 Absolute ton of life, whales and dolphin all over early am 8:30-10am and again from 3-4 PM working bait
5 or 6 blue dogs, pretty small...released...1 mako at 75 lbs or so released.......1 mako at the boat around 175lbs that hung around for 20 minutes and wouldn't take the pitch baits....oh well....all baits at 30, 60 and 90 feet.... few other boats withing 10 mile radius.....talk on the radio was mostly the same thing but a few boats hooked up with a couple makos going to 225 and 1 report of a small thresher Nice day on the water with friends. Tight lines all! don
