Fished on an overnighter out of Shinnicock on the 'Canyon Bound'...Capt Carmine Zicolli & Anthony Prudenti... crew of myself, Mr. OH (freind of Kilsong) Damian, Dave & Chirs. Nice conditions water... temp 74.2 - 75.5 on the warm side of the break...pretty clean/blue with the occasional weeds. Lines in Wednesday 1500 feet of water... south of the Dip around 4PM.....Tons on whales and huge bait balls down 150- 250 feet (probably krill) WWB shotgun goes off peeling 500 yards of line and after clearing the other lines we couldnt come tight and lost a good fish...eye ball, yft ... dont know Re-deploy spread and Mr. Whitey takes a skirted ballyhoo on the long rigger....busts off after 10 minutes boatside.... nice fish though... Spreads out again.... close flatline lure goes off...another White Marlin....boatside 10 minutes later maybey 60 LBS....a few photos and released healthy...(Pics to follow) Nothing else for the day and the chunk was uneventful as well.. Night drift took us NNE with not much bait around so we picked up @ 10PM and headed for the deep in 2100 feet...3-4 other boats out there from NJ ....not much going on overnight.... think 1 or 2 swords and 1 small YFT. Up on the troll in false light working NNW.....Seas built to a 4-6 tight chop but laid down a little by 9 am or so and water temp went down to 70.5 - 72 back up towards the Dip...worked the area and back again SSE to the deep Trolled till 11 am when we called it...nothing else... Great crew & Capts..... Will post a few pics Monday when they are sent to me of the Whites as I was assisting Mr. OH on his fish and on the stick for the 2nd White. Tight lines,
